Steak Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb round steak,cut into thin strips
  • 1 green pepper,cut into strips
  • 1 onion cut into strips
  • butter
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 oxo cube
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Accent(according to your taste)
  • 1 an mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  • Can of mushroom,drained (save the juice)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat,green pepper,onion in butter
Dissolve OXO cube in juice from the can of mushrooms and add to meat mixture
Add spices and simmer 1 hr.You may need to add more water
Mix soup,mayonnaise and canned mushrooms
Add to meat mixture and heat until blended
Serve on rice
*I use fresh mushrooms when possible and dissolve OXO cube in water
