Creamy Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 pepper
  • 2 boneless beef round steak,cut into serving size portions
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 c onion chopped
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup,undiluted
  • 1 can water
  • Hot cooked noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In a large resealable plastic bag combine flour,salt and pepper
Add beef, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat
In a large skillet,brown beef in butter on both sides
Transfer to a 3 quart slow cooker
Top with onion
Combine soup and water and pour over onion
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender
Serve with noodles
