Ingredients
- 12 oz top sirloin steak
- 2 TBS prepared mustard
- 4 thick slices bacon
- 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
- salt
- toothpicks
- Rouladen sauce
Preparation
Step 1
1. Oven 350 degrees 2. Trim any fat off meat and cut against grain into 1/4 inch thick slices 3. Place meat between two pieces of plastic wrap and flatten w/a mallet. Fill any holes w/ scrap meat. 4. Spread cutlets w/ mustard. Distribute the bacon and pickles over the meat. Season w/ salt to taste; roll the meat up. Tuck in the edges so that there are no flaps and secure w/ toothpicks. 5. Place in pan just big enough to hold the meat in one layer. Cover meat w/ sauce. Cover w/ foil; bake for 45".
