Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 lb bulk Italian sausage
- 1 medium green pepper,chopped
- 1 med onion,chopped
- 8 garlic cloves,minced
- 3 14 1/2 oz cans Italian diced tomatoes,drained
- 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
- 2 6 oz cans tomato paste
- 1/3 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbsp dried basil
- 2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Hot, cooked spaghetti
Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet over medium heat cook beef and sausage until no longer pink,drain
Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker
Stir in green pepper,garlic,tomatoes, tomato paste,tomato sauce,sugar and onions
Mix well
Cover and cook over low for 8 hours
Serve over spaghetti
