Stuffed Pasta Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lb. mild Italian sausage
  • 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1 cup Kraft 4 Cheese Italiano Shredded Cheese, divided
  • 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) pasta sauce
  • 16 jumbo pasta shells, cooked, drained
  • 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Heat butter in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 4 min. or until tender.

ADD Italian sausage and ground turkey. Cook 5 min. or until meat is browned. Add seasonings and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese; set aside.

SPREAD half of the pasta sauce on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Stuff cooked shells with meat mixture. Place, meat side down, in prepared pan. Pour remaining sauce over shells; cover with foil. Bake 25 min. Remove foil; sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake an additional 5 min. or until cheese is melted.
