Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 TBS ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla

Step 1
In a non-stick pan, combine the water, sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Over medium-high heat bring to a boil stirring frequently to prevent burning. After the mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and continue simmering for 15-20 min. stirring every so often to prevent sticking and burning. Let stand then add vanilla.
