Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 TBS butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
In a non-stick pan, combine cream, milk, corn syrup, sugars and salt. Stir over medium heat until smooth and blended. Bring to a rolling boil and maintain for 8-10 min. Keep stirring, do not let it burn. After 10 min; stir in butter; continue stirring for another 3 min. until butter is completely melted. Remove from heat. Let stand a min then add vanilla. Keep refrigerated.
