    oz. chicken breasts

  • 1/4

    c plain low fat yogurt

  • 2

    tsp garam marsala, divided

  • Cooking spray

  • 5/8

    tsp kosher salt, divided

    can unsalted diced tomatoes, drained

  • 1

    tbsp olive oil

  • 1

    tsp grated peeled fresh ginger

  • 1/4

    tsp ground red pepper

  • 3

    garlic cloves, minced

  • 2

    tbsp heavy whipping cream

  • 4

    6" pitas

  • 1/3

    c thinly sliced red onion

  • 3

    oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2

    tbsp fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

Preheat broiler to high. Cut chicken in half. Combine chicken, yogurt and 1/3 tsp garam marsala. Place on a foil lined baking sheet covered in cooking spray; sprinkle with salt. Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Place tomatoes in a mini chopper; pulse until smooth. Add oil to pan. Add 1 1/2 tsp garam marsala, ginger, red pepper and garlic; cook 1 min. Stir in tomatoes; simmer 4 mins. stir in 1/2 tsp salt and cream; cook 1 min. Cut chicken into pieces. Add chicken to pan; toss. Place pitas on a baking sheet. Broil 1 min on each side. Spoon 1/2 c chicken onto each. Top with onion and cheese. Broil 2 mins. Sprinkle with cilantro.
