Ingredients
- 4 large mild onions(peeled and sliced in rings)
- 1 c white sugar
- 1 c white or cider vinegar
- 1 c mayonnaise
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar and vinegar and bring to a boil
Pour over onions in a bowl
Marinate for 8 hrs
Drain liquid from onions
Add mayonnaise and a little celery salt
Chill well before serving
Delicious with cold meats
