ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups (1L) Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp (15mL) Vegetable oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp (45mL) Maple syrup or liquid honey
  • 2 Tbsp (30mL) Balsamic vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450° (230°C).


Cut any large Brussels sprouts in half. Toss with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread out on a rimmed baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes or until tender and charred on the edges.

Toss with maple syrup and vinegar while still warm.
