THANKSGIVING YAM CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 3 cups yams, cooked, peeled, and mashed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp half & half (or whipping cream)
  • Topping (see below)
  • Topping
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • Mix ingredients together. Crumble.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients, except topping, together. Spoon into 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover with topping mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
