Famous Freezer Meatloaf

Oh my this is good! A great meat loaf recipe you can freeze for up to 2 or 3 months for those rushed weeknight dinners. Serve with your favorite veggies and mashed potatoes for smiles all around the dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 2

    pounds ground beef

  • 1

    large egg

  • 1/3

    cup bread crumbs

  • 1

    medium white onion, finely chopped

  • 2

    large garlic cloves, minced

  • 2

    tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1

    tablespoon ketchup

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients. Make sure everything is mixed well. Place mixture into a baking dish. Form mixture into a loaf. Bake for 30-40 minutes until meat is cooked. Freezing Directions: Let meatloaf cool thoroughly. Divide up desired portions, or freeze the whole loaf. Either way place in freezer safe container. Good frozen 2-3 months. Defrosting Directions: Remove from freezer. Place in the refrigerator for approximately 24 hours or remove from freezer container and place on microwave safe plate and defrost until thawed. Or preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 10-15 minutes.
