Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 C. light colored corn syrup
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 3/4 C. cocoa
  • 1/4 C. evaporated fat-free milk
  • 1/2 C. water
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine everything except vanilla in saucepan and bring to simmer.
Reduce heat and cook for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Chill. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
