Baked Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 baking potatoes, baked, peeled, and mashed
  • 2/3 C. flour
  • 6 C. Milk
  • 3/4 C. Cheese
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Black pepper
  • Bay leaf

Preparation

Step 1

Cook together flour and milk over medium heat for 8 minutes until thick.
Add potatoes.
Blend in cheese, salt and pepper and stir till cheese melts.
Remove from heat.
Add cover, simmer for 20 min.
Discard bay leaf and serve garnished with crumbled bacon.
You can add a box of frozen spinach to this and/or same browned loose sausage.
