Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- salt and black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- hot cooked rice

Step 1
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken on both sides. Transfer chicken to Crockpot slow cooker.
Add mushrooms and onion to skillet; cook and stir until onions are tender. Add wine, stirring to scrape up any brown bits from bottom of skillet. Add mixture to Crockpot slow cooker. Sprinkle with basil, thyme and oregano. Cover; cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours.
Serve chicken and sauce over rice.
