cheese fondue

  • 1 envelpe onion soup mix
  • 1 12 oz beer
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups swiss cheese
  • 2 Tbs. flour
  • french bread cut in bite size pieces

Preparation

Step 1

In medium saucepan, combine soup mix and beer. Heat slowly. In medium bowl, combine shredded sheese with flour. When beer begins to simmer, addsmall portion of floured cheese and stir constantly until cheese is melted. Continue to add cheese gradually always being sure cheese is melted before adding more. To serve, transfer to chaffing dish or fondue pot and spear cubes of bread and dip. Good for a party or for dinner. Just serve a salad also.
