French Toast

Ingredients

  • Yields 2 servings
  • 4 thick slices bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup mi;l
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. Beat together eggs, milk, spices and vanilla

2. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking
both sides

3. Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium high flame.
Place soaked bread in pan and cook on both sides
until golden.

Serve with warmed maple syrup.
