Ingredients

  • 9 -ince Baked Pie Shell
  • 1 Tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 Cup plus 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 3/4 Teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 Cups Dairy Sour Cream
  • 1 1/2 Cup Raisins
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • Meringue

Preparation

Step 1

Bake pie shell. Heat oven to 400º. Mix cornstarch, sugar nutmeg, and salt in 2 quart saucepan. Stri in sour cream. Stir in raisins, lemon juice and egg yolks. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Pour into pie shell.

Prepare meringue. Spoon over hot pie filling. Bake about 10 minutes until delicate brown.
