Brisket

Ingredients

  • 1 large first cut brisket
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 3/4 bottle catsup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • garlic Ssalt

Preparation

Step 1

Make sure that you buy a first cut brisket. Trim all of the fat off
Mix all ingredients and pour over the brisket. Sprinkle with the garlic salt Bake covered for 3-4 hours at 350 degrees
Slice against the grain very thin. You may make in advance and freeze. Save some sauce and pour over or add a small amount of water
