Ingredients

  • 1/2 c bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 whole chicken breasts,split
  • 2/3 c butter-melted
  • 1/4 c white wine or apple juice
  • 1/4 c chopped green onion
  • 1/4 c fresh parsley,chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first six ingredients
Dip chicken pieces in butter
Set remaining butter aside
Roll chicken in crumbs
Place skin side up in 1 1/2 quart shallow casserole
Bake at 375 for 50-60 min
To left over butter add remaining ingredients
Pour over baked chicken
Bake 2-3 min more
Though not boned and rolled as is a true Kiev,these taste surprisingly like the original
