Beef Satay

Ingredients

  • 125 ml light soy sauce
  • 90 g honey
  • 1 orange juiced
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 cm piece ginger, finely grated
  • 2 T vegetable oil, plus extra to cook
  • 1 t sesame oil
  • 800 g piece beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • Coriander and steamed rice to serve

Preparation

Step 1

Combine marinade ingredients and add beef. Stir to coat. Season with pepper and cover with plastic wrap. Fridge for at least 3 hours.
Drain beef, discard marinade. Cook for 3 minutes, rest for 5.
