Ingredients
- Bottom Layer:
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 3 cups Flour
- 3 cups Pecans
- Top Layer:
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 3 tbsp Whipping Cream
Preparation
Step 1
Mix 1 cup of butter with 1/3 cup brown sugar and egg. Once mixed add lemon juice and flour. Pour and press ingredients into a 9 by 13 pan. Prick with a fork. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
In a sauce pan, insert 1 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of honey, and 1 cup of brown sugar. Cook and whisk the ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Remove from burner and add whipping cream.
Once the bottom layer is out of the oven, spread the ingredients from the sauce pan over the bottom layer and bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
Once done let cool and cut into squares.
