Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cups diced apples, peeled & sauted in 1 Tbls. Butter till soft
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Beat egg, gradually adding sugar & vanilla. Then add flour, baking powder, & salt to create a smooth batter. Fold in sauteed apples & nuts.
Pour into a buttered & floured 8” square glass pan. Baked for about 30 minutes at 350°.
Cut into squares & serve with caramel topping, ice cream or both.
