Ingredients
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined, then sprinkle a clean working surface with flour and turn the dough out onto the flour.
Spray a clean large bowl with nonstick cooking spray. Set the dough in the mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap or a towel. Allow to rise for about 1 hour in a warm place until the dough is twice its original size. Gently press the dough down with your hand after it has risen.
