Passover Kugel

Ingredients

  • First Set:
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 2 cups farfel
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Second Set:
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 apple, coarsely grated unpeeled apple
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

combine first set of ingredients and let stand until water is absorbed
combine second set of ingredients and then mix with first set; pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan
bake 1 hour @ 350°
