Worcester Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons cream of tarter
  • 1 teaspon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspon salt
  • start with 1/4 milk

Preparation

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients twice.
Add milk till soft dough.
Dump on floured surface - add flour until it doesn't stick to you.
Flatten to 1-1 1/2 inch.
Cut with a floured cutter.
Arrange in pan - add +/- 1 teaspoon melted crisco to each biscuit.
Bake at 500 degrees till brown - 400 till done.
