Cheese Cake Squares

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts
  • Filling:
  • 1 8-ounce Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tablespooon Lemon Rind
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk

Preparation

Step 1

Crust: Mix flour butter and sugar. Mix well until particles are fine. Stir in nuts. Remove 1 cup for topping. Press remainder in 8-inch square ungreased pan. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes until lightly brown.

Filling: Combine and mix all ingredients. Spread over crust and sprinkle with topping. Bake for 35 minutes until firm. Cool and cut into squares.
