Shrimp Scampi, Epicurean

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 clove garlic, minced
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pound cooked pasta

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle the red pepper pepper flakes into a frying pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and garlic. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add the shrimp and simmer for 2 minutes. Add parsley and wine and reduce heat to low.

Pour shrimp and sauce over warm pasta . Sprinkle with the fresh parmesan.

Squeeze lemon over top and serve with garlic bread.
