Ingredients
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or more)
- 1 10-oz can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 large apples, peeled, cored and cut into rings
- 1 tbsp. utter, or margarine, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Separate biscuits and press each into a 3-inch circle. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet; sprinkle with cheese, and top each with an apple ring. Place about 1 tsp. of brown sugar in the center of each apple ring. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min, or until crust is golden. Serve immediately. Yield: About 10 servings.
NOTE: this is very good without the cheese.
