Ingredients
- 20 Dare Bretton crackers
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 large package (300 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Line the bottom and sides of a 15 X 10 inch cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange a layer of Bretton crackers on the foil and fill in the spaces with broken crackers.
In medium saucepan, combine sugar and butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and appears "frothy". Pour mixture evenly over crackers.
Bake in 400 oven for 6 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with chocolate chips. When chips become soft, spread evenly over cracker mixture. Sprinkle with nuts.
Chill until chocolate is set. Break into pieces to serve.
Keep in fridge or frozen.
