Ingredients
- 8 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 c. chopped almonds or walnuts
- 1 c. wheat germ
- 1 c. sunflower seeds
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 &1/2 c. raisins, diced prunes or dried cranberries
- 1 Tbs. cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Combine 1st 4 ingredients. Combine honey, oil, sugar & vanilla in saucepan: heat but do not boil. Add to oats mixture, stirring until well-blended. Spread evenly onto 2 oiled cookie sheets. Bake @ 325 degrees 20-25 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in dried fruit. Cool. Store in air-tight container.
