Ingredients
- 2 lbs. beans
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/4 chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon oregano powder
- 2 garlic cloves minced
Preparation
Step 1
Cook beans until soft, brown beef in a little oil and add chili powder, cumin, oregano powder and garlic. Add enough liquid from beans to cover and cook meat until tender. Add beans and cook a few minutes. To thicken chili mash a few beans. You can add tomatoes or some celery seed or ground mustard if desired.
