Ingredients

  • 4 T. Butter
  • 1/4 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 T. Baking Powder
  • 1/8 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 t. Salt
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1 1/8 c. All Purpose Gluten Free Flour
  • 1/4 c. Garbanzo Flour
  • 1/2 c. Milk
  • 1 1/2 t. Xanthan Gum

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a cookie sheet.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, shortening, baking powder, sugar and salt until fully and light. Add the egg white to the butter mixture one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift together the flours and xanthan gum. Add one-half of the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, then half of the milk. Add the remaining flour and milk mix until well blended.

Place dough onto cookies sheet and flatten out to desired shape. Bake approx. 30-45 min.
