Banana Split Cake

Ingredients

• Combine and press to fit 9x13 pan and set aside:
• 3 C graham cracker crumbs or chocolate wafer crumbs
• 1 stick butter or margarine melted
• 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
• Beat together for 20 minutes. Pour into crumb crust.
• 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
• 2 eggs
• 2 C confectioner sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla
• Spread over filling
• 1 can (20 oz) crushed pinapple, drained
• Arrange over pinapple
• 7 to 8 bananas, cut lengthwise
• Spread over bananas
• 3 pkg (2 oz) whipped topping mix prepared to package directions
• Top with
• 1 C chopped nuts and 24 drained maraschino cherries cut in halves.

Preparation

Step 1

Chill until ready to serve, at least 2 hours. Cut in squares.
