Ingredients

  • 4 C sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1-12 oz bag of chocolate chips
  • 1 lb hershey bar
  • 1 pt marshmallow cream
  • 1 lb walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, milk and salt in a heavy bottom 2 1/2 qt saucepan. Bring to a boil slowly. Carefully add the butter and cook for exactly 10 minutes while stirring constantly.

In a separate large bowl, combine chocolate chips, Hershey bar (broken into pieces), marshmallow cream and walnuts.

Pour the hot sugar mixture over this and stir to combine. Mix thoroughly and then pour into a buttered 9x13 inch glass baking dish.

Allow to set before cutting into serving pieces.

To store: cover tightly with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before serving.
