Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 2 Heads Butter Lettuce
- 3/4 Cup Golden Raisins
- 1 - 1/2 Cups Diced Apples (granny smith or fuji work well)
- 1/2 Cup Toasted Pecans or Almonds
- 1/2 cup blue cheese
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 Teaspoons mustard
- 3 Teaspoons honey
- Pinch of tarragon
- 2 Teaspoon parsley
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- Pinch of pepper

Step 1
Place nuts on a cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 7-10 minutes. Cool completely.
Wash and thoroughly dry butter lettuce. Tear into bit sized pieces and place into a large salad bowl. Add raisins, diced apples and nuts.
Make dressing in a blender or food procesor. Dressing can be made up to 2 days ahead.
Mix dressing ingredients alternately with a ½ cup of mild oil in a food processor or blender until well mixed. If you like a sweeter dressing add a little more honey.
Pour dressing over salad and toss thoroughly. Serve immediately.
