Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken diced
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
- 1/3 mayo
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1 egg beaten
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 can (8 oz) refrig crescent rolls
Preparation
Step 1
Combine chicken, pineapple, mayonnaise, celery, almonds, and green pepper. Add salt. Toss lightly. Set aside. Separate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. On a greased cookie sheet. Arrange triangles in a circle with bases overlapping, narrow tips outward ( the open center should be about 3 inches diameter). Top by spooning chicken salad in a ring around bases of triangles, packing firmly to insure under ring. Brush with beaten egg, bake at 350 degrees, 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
