Chocolate Icing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c wh. sugar
  • 1 1/2 T cornstarch
  • 3 T cocoa
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c boiling water
  • 1 1/2 T butter
  • 1/2 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar & cornstarch in double boiler, add cocoa & salt. Add water and cook until thick. Remove from water & stir in butter & vanilla. Spread while hot.
