Bacon Wrapped, Cream Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts
boneless skinless chicken breast
tablespoons cream cheese
tablespoon green onion, chopped
pieces bacon, partially cooked
Pound out the chicken breast so it’s about 1/4″ thick. Mix the cream cheese and green onions. Spread the cheese mixture over one side of each chicken breast. Roll the chicken breast up to hide the cream cheese. Wrap the partially cooked bacon around each chicken breast and secure firmly with toothpicks. Place on lightly greases baking sheet and back for about 30 minutes at 375. Then broil for about 5 minute to crisp the bacon. For a healthier meal, you can substitute turkey bacon for the bacon, and low fat cream cheese in place of the regular cream cheese. This recipe serves 4.
