Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lbs. pork sausage
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Shape sausage meat into 12 patties. Cook in large skillet until browned and no longer pink inside, about 2 minutes. Remove patties from skillet, keep warm. Bake packaged biscuits. Pour off all fat from skillet into measuring cup, then return 1/3 cup fat to the skillet. Stir flour into fat, cook 1 minute. Add water, stirring constantly. Stir in milk, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Return patties to skillet to warm.
