Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Less 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Cup Crisco
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk with1/4 Teaspoon Soda
  • Dash Salt
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Butter Flavoring
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Flavoring

Preparation

Step 1

Cream Sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs one at a time. Beat after each egg.
Add Flour and mild alternately.
Start in cold oven. P
our into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
