Orange Creamsicle

Ingredients

  • Orange Layer:
  • 1 Box orange jello
  • 1 Egg, separated
  • 1 cup Very hot water
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Orange juice
  • Cream Layer:
  • 3 Eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup Whip
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Orange Layer:
Dissolve jello in water.
Add in egg whites and sugar. Then add OJ.
Keep beating for about 10 minutes until thick.
Add yolks and beat on low for 1 minutes.
Spread on cookie sheet and freeze 1 1/2 hours.

Cream Layer:
Beat egg whites and sugar.
Add whip, yolks and vanilla.
Pour onto sherbert and freeze for 3 hours.

Roll and freeze until hard.
