Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. yeast
- 3 1/2- 4 C. flour
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dill
- 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
Preparation
Step 1
Combine water, sugar, salt, yeast and flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 4 minutes. On a greased countertop, break off pieces of dough and roll into thin ropes that are 1 ½ times the length of skewers. Twist the rope around the skewers and place on a greased cookie sheet. Repeat till all dough is used. Let breadsticks rise in a warm spot for 45-60 minutes. Bake at 375F for 12-15 minutes. While they are baking combine the remaining ingredients so the flavors will blend. Remove from oven and brush breadsticks with butter glaze.
You can sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
