Fried Rice (Rumbi's Style)

Ingredients

  • Seasoning:
  • 4 C. cold white rice
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 C. red onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1/4 C. carrots, shredded
  • 8 oz. coleslaw mix (or shredded cabbage)
  • 3-4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Heat butter over medium heat and sauté onions, carrots and cabbage are tender. Add garlic, rice and soy sauce. Stir until combined. Sprinkle seasoning and stir in (DO NOT USE ALL, taste as you go).
