Garlic-Lime Plantains

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 lg ripe plantains, peeled and cut into 1/4" thick diagonal slices
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 limes, cut into wedges

Step 1
1.) In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook butter and oil 30 seconds, or until butter is melted. Add plantain slices. Cook 6 minutes, or until golden brown, turning once.
2.) Arrange plantains on platter. Sprinkle with salt, if desired.
3.) In the same skillet, cook garlic 1 minute, or until golden brown; sprinkle over plantains. Serve with limes.
