CONGEE

It's a warm and savoury porridge often with chunks of tender meat in it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 10 cups water
  • Chicken Legs
  • Ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Cilantro - optional

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except cilantro in slow cooker.
Cook on Low for 8-9 hrs
Cook on High 2-3 hrs before serving.
Serve with sesame oil, soya sauce and/or cilantro
