Ingredients
- 2 PIE CRUSTS
- 4 1/2 C. SLICED FRESH PEARS
- 3/4 C. WHITE SUGAR
- 1 TBSP. FLOUR
- 1/4 TSP. SALT
- 1 TSP CINNAMON
- 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
Preparation
Step 1
FOR PIE: MIX SUGAR, FLOUR, SALT, SPICE & LEMON JUICE IN A MED BOWL. PUT PEARS INTO THE MIXTURE AND STIR TIL COATED. POUR THE MIXTURE INTO A 9 INCH PASTRY LINED PIE PAN.
TOP PIE WITH 2ND CRUST, PINCH EDGES & PUT CUTS IN TOP FOR STEAM TO RELEASE.
BAKE 15 MINUTES AT 425`. REDUCE HEAT TO 350` AND BAKE 45 MINUTES LONGER.
