Ingredients

  • Bone for broth....Ham, Chicken, Turkey
  • 1 C Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp shortening
  • 1/8 C water
  • 6-8 Potatos

Preparation

Step 1

Slow boil the meat for 40-60 minutes or longer. Cut the meat into pieces and place back in the broth. Dice the potatoes and place in the broth cook an additional 20-30 minutes. Mix flour, salt and shortening. Mix egg and water. Combine the two and mix well by hand to make a dough. Roll thin and cut into strips. Slowly add to pan. Cook for 20 minutes or until potatos are soft and dough is thick.
I always double the dough recipe.
