Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 5 cup diced stewed tomatoes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. parsley
  • 8 whole cloves (remove before serving)
  • pinch of cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Cook 1 1/2 hours add water if needed.
Add 36 peeled and de-veined shrimp; simmer 10 minutes.
