Ingredients
- 1 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- 5 cup diced stewed tomatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. parsley
- 8 whole cloves (remove before serving)
- pinch of cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
Cook 1 1/2 hours add water if needed.
Add 36 peeled and de-veined shrimp; simmer 10 minutes.
