Ingredients
- 2 3.4-oz boxes cook-and-serve chocolate pudding & pie filling
- 3 1/2 cups whole milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 9” pastry pie crust, cooked & cooled
Preparation
Step 1
Combine pudding mixes, milk, butter and chocolate chips in a medium saucepan. Cook ingredients over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; stirring continually. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes; stirring twice.
Pour filling into pie pastry, cool to room temperature then cover and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream.
Don’t forget to let the pie cool to room temperature before refrigerating or the pie may split or crack.
